Ferguson Hill Campground is in Cypress Hills Provincial Park, 20 km southeast of Medicine Hat on Hwy. 1 and 30 km south on Hwy. 41. Here there are about 50 sites suited to both tents and RVs in an open pine forest. The waterfront and Elkwater are close by. Cypress Hills is a large park with many amenities and activities to offer.  Laze on the beach, go boating on the lakes, hike, bike, or enjoy an interpretive program. In winter enjoy tobogganing, downhill skiing or cross-country skiing on groomed trails.

Firewood can be purchased in Elkwater townsite.

  • Water is shut off for the winter season.
  • Flush toilets, showers and drinking water are available year-round at the Lakeview shower house, located near the campground registration booth.
