Where: Cypress Hills Provincial Park , Information & Facilities

Details: Winterization of water services for campgrounds, standpipes, flush toilets, and showers will begin September 21, 2026.  Year-round water, flush toilets, and showers are available at the Lakeview Shower House, located at the entrance to Lakeview Campground. Water to campgrounds, standpipes, flush toilets, and showers is not guaranteed or charged between September 14, 2026, and June 1, 2027.

Directions

Lakeview Campground is in Cypress Hills Provincial Park, 20 km southeast of Medicine Hat on Hwy. 1 and 30 km south on Hwy. 41. Here there are 13 open, RV-friendly sites with power/water hookups just a stone's throw from Elkwater Lake. Enjoy a playground, showers and flush toilets close by. Cypress Hills is a large park with many amenities and activities to offer. Laze on the beach, go boating on the lakes, hike, bike, or enjoy an interpretive program. In winter enjoy tobogganing, skating, snowshoeing, downhill skiing or cross-country skiing on groomed trails.
