Features

    Experience the beautiful setting of Cypress Hills Provincial Park in the comfort of a hut. Situated on a ridgeline overlooking Elkwater Lake, Aspen Ridge Huts offer a secluded comfort camping experience close to hiking trails and town site amenities. Each of the six huts sleeps eight and have separate sleeping and living/eating spaces. The huts are located in Aspen Ridge Campground, off Hwy 41 South and are available to book May to September.

    *During May and June the entire site (including 6 huts and main lodge) can be booked as a group camp. For more information – please contact the Cypress Hills Visitor Centre (403-893-3833).  

    Please ensure you are arriving during operating hours. If you will be arriving after hours, please contact the Visitor Centre (403-893-3833) to make arrangements to access the cabin. For inquiries, email AEP.cypresshillscomfortcamping@gov.ab.ca.

Please Note

    • Running water is not available in the cabins.
    • Showers and flush toilets are available nearby in the campground.
    • Please remove all garbage from the cabin at check-out and dispose of in the receptacles provided. Do not leave any garbage in the cabins or fire pits.

Rules

    • Payment and Check-in/Check-out is at the Campground Registration Booth.
    • Check-in time is 4:00pm. Early Check in is not guaranteed.
    • Check-out time is 12:00 noon. Late check-out is not available.
    • Cancellation policy: Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to 2 p.m. on the day of check-in. Cancellations may only be done by contacting the Reservation Line at 1-877-537-2757 or online at Reserve.AlbertaParks.ca
    • All six cabins are pet friendly. Pets are allowed in and around cabins (not in washroom/shower facility). Pets must be on leash at all times and not left unattended.
    • Smoking and/or vaping of tobacco and cannabis is strictly prohibited inside all buildings.
