Less than 5 km from the Elkwater townsite on Murray Hill Road, the Spring Creek Shelter and Trailhead offers a small parking area with pit toilets next to the warm-up shelter. It is the starting point for hiking, biking, and equestrian trails in the summer, and cross-country skiing in the winter.
