Where: Cypress Hills Provincial Park , Information & Facilities

Details: Winterization of water services for campgrounds, standpipes, flush toilets, and showers will begin September 21, 2026.  Year-round water, flush toilets, and showers are available at the Lakeview Shower House, located at the entrance to Lakeview Campground. Water to campgrounds, standpipes, flush toilets, and showers is not guaranteed or charged between September 14, 2026, and June 1, 2027.

Enjoy this secluded beach area, accessed from the West-Central parking lot or the paved Shoreline Trail. There are pit toilets in the parking lot and some nice picnic areas at the beach and along the nearby trail. This is also a great location for bird watching.

  • This day use area is located along Elkwater Lake between the Visitor Centre and Firerock Campground.
