This trail starts at the south end of Elkwater Campground. Climbing steadily through mixed wood and lodgepole pine forest, the trail ends at Murray Hill Road at the top of the plateau. There is an informal viewpoint one third of the way up, overlooking Elkwater Lake.This expert-level trail can also be cycled as a point-to-point or as a loop utilizing Mystery Trail.
