Centrosaurus Bonebed Hike

Meeting Location

This tour starts at Fossil Display 1, which is a 15 minute drive from the Visitor Centre.

See the exceptional concentration of fossils that make Dinosaur Provincial Park world-famous!

With a knowledgeable guide, you will trek up the steep sandy slopes of the badlands and across grassy valleys to a dig site that contained the remains of hundreds of horned dinosaurs.

As you hike you will explore clues in the landscape that reveal the secrets of Cretaceous Alberta, and uncover the science behind why so many dinosaurs were preserved at this site.

This route to the bonebed is perfect for those who enjoy a good hike.

This program is not wheelchair or stroller accessible.

Cancellations may occur due to extreme weather events, including extreme heat and rain.
