Cretaceous Science Investigations

Ice Safety: Alberta Parks does not monitor ice conditions; learn how to assess them for yourself.

Did dinosaurs get sick? How fast did they move? How could you investigate these questions?

Dig into the mysteries of dinosaur life and death at the Visitor Centre’s Palaeontology Lab. This hands-on indoor program will give you an opportunity to develop your skills of observation and hypothesis building using the research methods of contemporary paleontologists. Analyze fossils with unusual features and use the available evidence to deduce the most scientifically plausible suspects.

This indoor program can be modified to be wheelchair accessible upon request.
