Experience the thrill of discovery! Join a one-day guided excavation at Dinosaur Provincial Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its unparalleled concentration of dinosaur fossils.

Work alongside a seasoned palaeontological technician as you meticulously expose and collect 75-million-year-old fossils from an active excavation site.

Gain invaluable hands-on experience with palaeontological field techniques while contributing to ongoing research conducted by the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology.

This is your chance to:

• Participate in a real palaeontological dig.

Important Notes:

• Accessibility: This program is not suitable for those with mobility limitations. Participants must be able to hike up to 5 km and sit on the ground for long periods of time.
• Weather Conditions: Cancellations may occur due to extreme weather events, including extreme heat and rain.
• Footwear: Closed-toe and closed-heel sturdy walking shoes are required for this tour. (No sandals, flip-flops, or Crocs.)
• Accommodations & Meals: Participants are responsible for their own accommodations & food.
• Children under 14 are not able to attend. Youths ages 14-17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Limit of two youths per adult.
