John Ware's Cabin

Explore the last home of John Ware, a larger than life personality in the ranching history of the Canadian west. Born into slavery on a South Carolina plantation around 1845, he rose to fame on the prairies because of his exceptional horsemanship skills. See personal artifacts and learn more about what life was like in the early 1900's.

Open 10:00am - 4:00pm, daily May 18 - September 9 and Thursday-Monday September 10 - 30.

No need to book ahead.
