    Dinosaur Provincial Park is NOT located at Drumheller. It is 48 km northeast of Brooks, Alberta. From Dinosaur Provincial Park, it takes at least two hours to drive to the Town of Drumheller and the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology. See Driving Instructions

Notes

    • 12 picnic sites on east side of concession building beside John Ware Cabin, across road from river
    • 2 fire pits and some picnic tables closer to the Red Deer River, between the Comfort Camping tents and the Deadlodge Canyon Amphitheatre
    • Flush toilets, coin-operated showers and laundromat within walking distance at concession building (seasonal)
    • NOTE: In fall and winter, day use visitors are welcome to use the campground fire pits and picnic tables.
    • No fee for day use/picnic area
