Writing-on-Stone/ Áísínai’pi is a sacred place that has special spiritual significance for the Blackfoot people. Surrounded by awe-inspiring landscape, school groups connect with the natural world and view First Nations Rock Art (petroglyphs and pictographs) in the remarkable Milk River Valley. Our interpretive team provides curriculum linked education programs in our outdoor "park classroom".
We also have resources to assist educators.
Visitors can learn about the stories and the landscape through public tours and interpretive programs.
Thanks to the Milk River Watershed Council Canada for supporting our watershed-related school programs.
