  • Road Closure - Emerson Creek Road Closure

    Effective:  July 8, 2025

      Please be advised that Emerson Creek Road will be closed at Kilometre 72.2 (DLO 3161 in SW-26-55-20-W5M) beginning July 8, 2025, for approximately five weeks to allow for the replacement of a culvert.

      During this time, no through traffic will be permitted. However, Emerson Lakes Campground and the Wild Sculpture Trail will remain open and accessible. We kindly ask that visitors plan alternate routes in advance.

      Following the completion of work at KM 72.2, crews will move to Kilometre 83.2 (DLO 3161 in SE-26-55-19-W5M) for a second culvert replacement. This location will also be closed to through traffic for an estimated five-week period.

      We are committed to keeping you informed and will provide updated information as it becomes available.

  • Notice - Trail Updates - Sundance PP

    Effective:  June 1, 2022   Updated:  January 7, 2025

      • The Lower Wild Sculpture Trail and Upper Wild Sculpture Trail are maintained and are accessible for hiking.
      • The backcountry trails leading to the Sandstone Campsite and Narrows Campsite are maintained and are accessible for hiking and backcountry camping.
      • The backcountry trails leading to the Jack Wright Campsite and Horseshoe Grove Equestrian Campsite are not maintained with significant deadfall and plant growth.
      • The West Park Foot Access Trail is not maintained and contains broken boardwalks and a broken bridge. Caution is advised.
