| Natural Region Description | This natural area is part rolling upland and part wetland. Diverse upland consists of mixedwood of aspen poplar, white spruce, balsam poplar, lodgepole pine and paper birch. Mesic to wet areas have varied plant communities including paper birch-Labrador tea, tamarack-black spruce-sphagnum moss, sedge meadows and willow shrubland. |
