Join the Campground Volunteer Hosts in front of the Registration Booth to make a nature based craft!
- 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Day Use Area
- Show & Shine/Workshop - Join our Maintenance Team in the Day Use Area to learn about some of their equipment!
- Bug Hunt - Have you ever wanted to get a closer look at some of the insects in our park? Curious about how and where they live? Set out with your nets and magnifying glasses, catch some bugs, and take a peek into the lives of our smallest critters!
- Bear Smart - Don’t poke the bear—get Bear Smart! Visit our table to learn tips for coexisting with wildlife.
- Parks Day Cake - Come join the Alberta Parks Staff and Volunteers in celebrating Parks Day with a piece of cake! Meet us in the Day Use for a slice. Everyone is welcome.
- 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Arts & Crafts
Paint, glue, and create with Parks Staff—arts and crafts fun for all ages! Meet at the Registration Booth.
- 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Bird is the Word
Are you stork raven mad about birds? Are your trivia skills im-peck-able, or do you have a bird brain? Come test your bird knowledge in our Jeopardy™ style game “Bird Is The Word!”
