Elbow Falls Provincial Recreation Area is a popular outdoor destination thanks to its beauty and proximity to Calgary. The park is only 67 km southwest of Calgary, making it ideal for day trips and quick getaways.

As the name suggests, the big attraction of this park is Elbow Falls. The falls are an impressive site and are easy to access. The trail from the parking lot is short and paved and leads to several scenic viewpoints.

Enjoy hiking, trail running, and biking year-round.

30 km west of Bragg Creek on Hwy. 66

    Highway 66 (west of Elbow Falls) and Powderface Road are closed annually from December 1 to May 14. See the full list of annual road closures.
