Natural Region Description

This park is located in Kananaskis Country and contains some of the finest trail riding areas in Alberta. It encompasses a diverse landscape of open grassy slopes, dense forests, deep valleys and mountain peaks. This diversity creates prime habitat for elk, mountain sheep, cougar, grizzly bear and mountain goat. Access into the park is by foot, mountain bike and horse only.
