Waiparous Creek Provincial Recreation Area is located 13 km west of Cochrane on Hwy. 1A and 36 km north on Hwy. 40. This Provincial Recreation Area offers a peaceful and rustic camping experience surrounded by mature forests, mountain views, and the gentle flow of Waiparous Creek. This hidden gem is a favorite for outdoor enthusiasts looking to disconnect and unwind in nature. Enjoy fishing and hiking as well as OHV trails nearby. Registered campers may off-load and travel to OHV trails from their campsites. 
13 km west of Cochrane on Hwy. 1A & 36 km north on Hwy. 40; approximately 345 km from Edmonton & 75 km from Calgary
