Details:Only non-potable water is only available on site through the hand pump. Visitors arriving May 21st and onwards are advised to arrive with sufficient water for the duration of their stay. This advisory will be removed once the system is running with potable water.
Non-potable water is not safe for consumption or use and should only be used to put out fires.
Crow Lake Provincial Park is located 120 km south of Fort McMurray along Hwy 63. Boreal forest surrounds this park, which offers rustic camping and paddling opportunities on Crow Lake, a non-motorized lake. Since the 2002 forest fire, natural forest regeneration has created a ecosystem that supports abundant wildlife. Crow Lake Ecological Reserve on the south shore protects diverse habitats, attracting a wide variety of bird species year-round.
