Maqua Lake Provincial Recreation Area is located on the eastern shore of Maqua Lake, about 37km southeast from the community of Fort McMurray. This non-motorized lake provides a beautiful location for paddlers in the area that may be looking for just a day-use area, or for those looking to camp at a small quiet rustic individual campsite or group campsite. The day-use area offers a parking area with picnic sites and a hand-launch for lake access.
