Details:Due to below average seasonal temperatures, potable water (drinking water) is not available. Non-potable water is available from the campground water taps. Non-potable water is not safe for consumption and should only be used to put out fires.
Please plan accordingly and bring your own water.
Simonette River Provincial Recreation Area is nestled in the deep valley of the Simonette River about 10 km south of Highway 43 on the Forestry Trunk Road. This park offers rustic campsites and access to the river.
Due to changing river conditions, visitors need to use caution if swimming or floating. During high stream flow, being on the water poses safety hazards and is strongly discouraged.
