Details: Please be advised that all three boat launches at Aspen Beach Provincial Park are closed until further notice. This necessary measure is due to critically low water levels in Gull Lake, which pose a significant safety risk to boaters and could cause damage to watercraft. Please respect all closures and obey all signage posted on site. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring the safety of all park visitors.

Details: Ebeling Beach Day Use will be going through a refurbishment construction project beginning September 21, 2026. Partial closures within the day use area will be in effect during the project. The Government of Alberta is committed to providing a safe experience for all parks visitors. For your safety, please respect all barriers, signs, and restricted areas that have been put in place. Thank you for your cooperation as these improvements are completed.
Follow the direction of all signage and personnel in the area and stay out of active construction zones.
Ebeling Day Use has one of the most popular beaches in central Alberta. Its large sandy beach on the clean waters of Gull Lake and its close proximity to several communities make it a top destination on hot summer days.
As a result, the parking lots tend to fill up quickly. If you plan to come to the park throughout the summer, it is best to get there early. Once the lots are full, no additional vehicles are allowed into the park, and stopping on Highway 12A is not permitted.
For visitors looking to spend a full day at the beach, there are some fire pits and picnic tables for use. Some of the registered campsites border the day use area, so please be mindful when choosing a fire pit to use. Visitors looking for food and drinks can also take advantage of the Ripples Concession for hot and cold food, drinks, and snacks.
