Calhoun Bay Campground is the perfect spot when you’re looking for a quiet camping experience and don’t need many amenities on site. There are non-flush vault toilets in the campground as well as water pumps, though the water in the campground is not drinkable.
The campsites in Calhoun Bay Campground are spacious enough for most RVs and trailers, and many are treed to create that extra privacy you might want for a nice weekend getaway. There is a mix of first come, first served sites as well as ones available for reservations.
All sites are unserviced, and the campground is fully reservable. Be sure to pre-book your spot online or through the reservation centre as self-registration is not available at this time.
While in the campground, you can launch your canoe or kayak onto Buck Lake and enjoy this popular fishing lake. You can also cast from a few spots from shore. There is no firewood sold on site, so please plan ahead and bring some with you as removing deadfall or branches from the forest is not allowed.
