Operational Service Change - Winter Camping Information

    Effective Date: September 15, 2025

    Where: Area A Group Use , Area B Group Use , Area C Group Use , Carson Cove Store VisitorCentre , Carson-Pegasus Campground

    Details:

    Please note the following as you prepare for your winter visit to Carson-Pegasus:

    • Loops A,B,C,D,E,F and G are closed for the winter.
    • Loop H is First-Come, First-Served. Power remains on in the powered sites. Payment can be made by cash or cheque in the self-registration vault just past the Seawall Parking lot at the entrance to G and H loops. 
    • The Campground Booth and Store are closed. Please bring your own firewood. 
    • Water system is shut down including flush toilets, shower houses, taps in loops, sani dump and fill station. Please bring water with you. 
    • The wooden docks have been removed from McLeod and Little McLeod Lakes. The floating docks are not accessible from shore for the winter.   
    • Snow removal from roadways within the park may be delayed by a few days following a snowfall.

    • Carson Cove Store is located on the peninsula by the main boat launch and day use area
    • Campground registration booth is open Friday to Sunday and closed Monday-Thursday. Please check in a Carson Cove store.
