Year-Round Camping

Pigeon Lake Provincial Park boasts spacious sites surrounded by mixed forest that are suited to tents and RVs for year-round camping. During the summer, there are many amenities here including showers, flush toilets, a boat launch, day-use picnic sites and a playground. Enjoy beach and water activities, and hike or bike on the 10 km trail system. If you prefer not to rough it, check out the comfort camping sites where you can stay in a fully furnished yurt during the summer months.

Through-out the winter, there are 10 powered camping sites available at a reduced rate. Our staff plow snow out of these sites for easy access to enjoy the outdoors during all seasons. Access to vault washrooms is available year-round, however winter campers should come prepared with their own firewood and water as these services are not available from October - May. Visitors to Pigeon Lake can take in a variety of winter activities including access to the lake for ice fishing, winter walks, and groomed trails for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and fat biking.

As this is an intermittent natural phenomenon, advanced notice of conditions cannot be provided and refunds are not provided for insects.
  • Winter: Some winterized sites in Loop A (a minimum of 10) are open year-round.  These campsites have power but there is no water service in the off-season.  Showers are not available and no firewood is provided.  Camping is first come-first served.
