The Day Use Area at Rochon Sands Provincial Park is a popular destination on a hot summer day. A large beach has room for many families and groups to enjoy making sandcastles or playing games. The water remains shallow for a long way, making it easy for young children to enjoy. There is a change room and washroom facility. On the east side of the pier is a boat launch and a fish cleaning station.
There is also a large grassy area with a playground, perfect for picnics and sport activities.
