Details:Due to rockfall hazards identified in parts of Whitehorse Creek Campground, campsites 1-7 are permanently closed. Campsites 8-17 will open June 15. The equestrian campsites remain open.

Whitehorse Creek Provincial Recreation Area is located about 6 km southwest of Cadomin on a gravel access road. It is a staging area for the mountainous Whitehorse Wildland Provincial Park. The campground is situated along scenic Whitehorse Creek, near the confluence of the Whitehorse Creek and McLeod River. There are corrals, hitching rails, and a loading ramp available for equestrian users, reservations are recommended. Visitors can enjoy hiking and scrambling mountains in the adjacent wildland park, fishing, horseback riding, and lounging beside waterfalls.
