This is a self-maintained group use area operated by the Friends of the Eastern Slopes. A nightly fee is not charged; however, campers are encouraged to purchase an annual membership to support their operation.
Canoeing: in addition to canoeing/kayaking, this is an excellent location for river rafting.
Off Highway Vehicles (OHVs): OHV off-loading within the campground and travel on established roadways during daylight hours is permitted within Red Deer River Provincial Recreation Area. Off-road travel is not permitted within the PRA, and the maximum permissible speed for OHV operation in the recreation area is 15 km/h . Enjoy the Forestry Trunk Road OHV corridor and informal trails in the vicinity.
