Stoney Lake Provincial Recreation Area is 50 km north of Fairview off Hwy. 64. Located along the shores of Montagneuse Lake, visitors can relax at the beach or explore the lake by boat. For those looking to get out on the lake, there is a boat launch and pier for launching electric powered boats, canoes and kayaks. For those looking to explore the surrounding forest, visitors can hike, mountain bike, and keep an eye out for birds and wildlife.
