Mitchell Lake Campground

Mitchell Lake Campground is located 19 km south of Rocky Mountain House on Highway 22 and 10 km west on a gravel access road. A small campground with two walk-in tenting sites, and three open, gravel sites next to the parking lot are available on a first come, first served basis. Enjoy the easy access of the hand launch for your canoes or electric powered boats or check out one of the several beautiful piers where you can cast a line and catch some trout.

Firewood is not available. Help stop the spread of forest pests, Dutch elm disease and emerald ash borer. Plan to bring or buy firewood locally to burn on site.
