This equestrian campground is found in Little Elbow Provincial Recreation Area, about 30 km west of Bragg Creek along Hwy. 66 (closed Dec.1 to May 15 annually). There are over 45 well-treed sites. Hitching rails, corrals and a loading ramp are available for use. A good staging area for equestrian users to access backcountry trails.

Equestrian campgrounds are intended for campers bringing a horse. Please only book at an equestrian campground if you are using it for equestrian purposes as there are only a few campgrounds available to these users.

Firewood

Firewood is available for purchase at McLean Creek Campground Store and from the manager's site.

Water

Please bring your own water. Water from the hand pump is not safe for consumption or use and should only be used to put out fires.

Equestrian

Price includes fee for 2 horses; $8.00/night each additional horse.
