Pinehurst Lake Group A is located before the Boat Launch Day Use Area. This waterfront group site is unserviced and does not offer power or an enclosed cook shelter. Amenities include a vault toilet, picnic tables, a large firepit, and drinking water is available via hand pump.

There is a trail connecting the Boat Launch Day Use Area to the Camper's Beach Day Use Area. A playground area is available between Loop A and B of the campground.

The Campground Store serves as the check-in location for group camping, offering groceries, camping supplies, and firewood.

There is no fill station available onsite, but a dump station can be found off-site in the nearby community of Rich Lake.
