Fossil Safari

Join us for a badlands safari!

Out among the hoodoos, your guide will lead you to a fossil site were you will have a chance to use your eagle-eyes to spot real dinosaur fossil eroding from the ground. Make sure to bring your camera so you can take cool photos with your 75-million year old discoveries (and your family).

To protect our fossil resource we do not allow digging on tours but you will get to touch and hold real fossils!

If you are looking for a advanced fossil hunting experience, try our Fossil Finders program as Fossil Safari is designed for families with young children.

This program is not wheelchair or stroller accessible.

Cancellations may occur due to extreme weather events, including extreme heat and rain.

Please note: Closed toe and heel walking or hiking shoes are required for this tour. (No Keen sandals, sandals, flip-flops or Crocs).
