Where: Rock Lake Provincial Park , Rock Lake Access Road

The Rock Lake Access Road is subject to sudden flooding during the spring and summer due to rising water on the Wildhay River. Please proceed with caution into the park, especially after heavy precipitation or snow melt from the mountains.

Alberta Parks is monitoring the road; however, river levels can change rapidly.

Where: Rock Lake Provincial Park

Expect construction at Rock Lake Provincial Park from April to September 2026 (weather dependant). To reduce the risk of flooding, we are raising a portion of the Rock Lake Access Road and reconstructing the bridge across the Wild Hay River.

The park will remain open, and the Day Use Areas and Campground will be accessible.

We appreciate your patience as we invest in a better park experience for all.
