The Rundle Mountain Cycling Club and Cyclemeisters Calgary are pleased to collaborate and offer the second edition of the Western Challenge Cyclocross (WCCX) which is part of a two race weekend including the Tenth annual Drie Zussen Superprestige. With the intent of growing the national cyclocross calendar, this race series is designed to help Master and Junior riders to earn rankings in order to improve their call-up positions at Canadian CX Championships.
The Western Challenge on day one is sanctioned by Cycling Canada (CC) for the Open Elite, Masters, U23, U17 and Junior Categories. All other races are sanctioned by the Alberta Bicycle Association (ABA). Rules of the ABA, CC and UCI will apply where applicable.
