Terrace Trail has two common sections - Terrace North of and south of the junction with Kovach. Terrace Trail heading south of the Kovach Junction is a popular hiking and biking trail, with nice views of Kananaskis Valley and Kananaskis Country Golf Course; this section is often used as a connector trail for visitors completing an overnight hiking/backpacking trip which takes in Ribbon Falls or Ribbon Lake Backcountry Campgrounds and the Lillian Lake Backcountry Campground. The northern section of Terrace Trail heads from the Kovach Junction to the Ribbon Creek Day Use Area.
