This is a gently rolling trail over a low pass, with wildflower meadows near the east end. The trail starts 4.4 km from Indian Oils on the Sheep Trail just past Junction Mountain Trail.
To access the trail from the Sandy McNabb Day Use Area, you must ford the Sheep River to access Price Camp Trail.
Alternatively, the Windy Point Trailhead access via Price Camp Trail is a pullout on the south side of the highway, 3.1 km west of the Highway 546 Winter Gate.
