Where: Dinosaur Day Use , Dinosaur Group Use , Dinosaur Campground , Dinosaur Provincial Park , Dinosaur Visitor Centre , Dinosaur Provincial Park Road
Details:Alberta Forestry and Parks will be completing roadway assessments along the Dinosaur Provincial Park Entrance Road.
A single-lane closure will be in effect on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, while an assessment crew with heavy and light equipment is working on the roadway. Motorists should expect intermittent delays and be prepared to stop as directed by flagging personnel.
Please use caution and reduce speeds when approaching the work zone. All posted signage and instructions from flagging staff must be strictly followed. Your patience and cooperation are appreciated as this work is completed safely.
Follow the direction of all signage and personnel in the area and stay out of active construction zones.

Explore a lush riverside world beneath the canopy of plains cottonwood trees. The cool understorey is home to most of the park's 165 species of birds. Bring your binoculars. The park protects 26 kilometres of riparian habitat along the banks of the Red Deer River.
