Operational Service Change - Campground Booth Closure and Water Shut Off

    Where: Dinosaur Campground , Dinosaur Day Use , Dinosaur Group Use , Dinosaur PP , Dinosaur Visitor Centre VisitorCentre , Dinosaur Wall Tent ComfortCamping

    Details: If you are planning on camping this winter at Dinosaur Campground, please note the following season changes: 
    • The Dinosaur Campground Registration Booth is now closed for the season.
      • Ice will no longer be available as both the booth and cafe are closed for the season. Firewood is available for purchase at the Visitor Centre, but please note that the Visitor Centre is only open on Saturdays and Sundays now from 11am to 4pm.
      • Please be aware that we are running low on firewood and once it is gone, we will no longer be getting more. We advise that campers come to the campground self sufficient.
    • The shower building and laundry facilities is now closed for the season and will not open up until mid May 2026.
    • The water lines to the dump station and campground are no longer available. The dump station will be available for dumping only at this time, but not for filling. Please bring your own water.

Explore a lush riverside world beneath the canopy of plains cottonwood trees. The cool understorey is home to most of the park's 165 species of birds. Bring your binoculars. The park protects 26 kilometres of riparian habitat along the banks of the Red Deer River.
