A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park your vehicle in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley.

Three Sisters Campground is found in Bow Valley Provincial Park, 12 km east of Canmore on Hwy. 1. There are 36 well-treed sites suited to both RVs and tents. The campground is beside the Bow River and has a hand launch for small non-motorized boats. There are many activities available in the surrounding area, including hiking and biking trails, fishing and paddling.

  • Three Sisters campground is located in Dead Man's Flats (just outside Canmore on Hwy. 1).
  • Boat launch is for non-motorized public vessels only; commercial operators require a permit to launch or take out any non-motorized vessels.  Parking available outside campground gates only.

Firewood

Firewood is available for purchase from campground manager/hosts.

Water

Water is available from a hand pump at this site. Although Alberta Parks strives to maintain water quality, we recommend that you bring your own drinking water.
