Details:Heavy rain is expected in the Bow Valley area, and river levels are already high, with some areas experiencing flooding along the Bow River. Visitors should be aware that flooding may occur and use extreme caution. Backcountry users need to be aware that rising water levels could impact navigation. Continue to check for updates to Advisories and local weather reports before heading out.
Lac Des Arcs Campground is found in Bow Valley Provincial Park, 14 km east of Canmore on Hwy. 1. Located on the shores of Lac Des Arcs, which is popular with windsurfers, the campground features sites suitable for both RVs and tents. Visitors can enjoy hiking and biking trails, fishing and paddling in the area.
