This pleasant trail accesses Heart Creek Interpretive Trail 0.8 km from the trailhead. Quaite Valley Backcountry Campground is 5.7 km from the trailhead. The trail beyond the campground continues up to Jewell Pass, and connects with Jewell Pass Trail and Prairie View Trail.
