A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park your vehicle in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley.

This is a long, open trail following the power line. Equestrian camping is available at Jewell Bay Backcountry Campground

Stoney Trail is closed annually from April 15-June 15, from (and including) Jewel Bay Campground south to Lorette Creek.
