Fish Creek Provincial Park

Alberta Parks

The "Nature" of Science

Ice Safety: Alberta Parks does not monitor ice conditions; learn how to assess them for yourself at the Canadian Red Cross.

Students work in "scientific teams" to examine interactions, abiotic and biotic features of three distinct ecosystems - grassland, aspen parkland and boreal forest.  Students also explore how human impacts have influenced these ecosystems.
