A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park your vehicle in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley.

The west end of the trail climbs along the escarpment over Canyon Creek through aspen stands, then the trail winds through spruce forest down to the east junction with the Elbow Valley Trail.
