This 5.2 km one-way trail with 200 metres (650 ft) elevation gain is accessed off of Pocaterra Trail, 500 m south of the Whiskey Jack junction. It climbs to the fire lookout and provides panoramic views of the area. In the winter, the trail continues south to connect with Hydroline Trail, but in the summer the trail is an out-and-back due to unbridged stream crossings.
Note for commercial guides/instructors and school/community groups - there is a group size limit of 15 persons on this trail. Refer to permits for more information or phone 403-851-220
