Middle Kootenay Pass

Middle Kootenay Pass runs off of the Great Divide Trail, following a wide and frequently used OHV trail that weaves in and out of forested subalpine terrain and ascends into Kootenay pass.

The first 2.7 km of trail is flat and easy terrain; take a right at the fork. A steep, sloped climb for the next 6km will bring you to the Middle Kootenay Pass. Enjoy the well-earned views of Rainy Ridge and the West Castle Valley.
