This is a forested trail that leads to an alpine meadow and the lake below Mount Chester.
An annual seasonal closure will be in place on the Chester Lake Trail from May 1st to June 29th to allow the area to dry and prevent damage to the trail and surrounding area. Sawmill trails can be accessed by parking at the Sawmill trailhead six kilometres south of Chester Parking Lot.
